Allentown Presbyterian Church is a vibrant community of faith, where hundreds of people from a multitude of backgrounds and ages gather to worship and follow Jesus.  For over 300 years APC has proclaimed the love of Jesus to the greater Allentown community and today we uniquely blend our rich history with a youthful spirit to make the story of God’s love relevant for all.  Recognizing that Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, our mission is to help one another Grow in Christ. Advent Sermon Series - What Are You Waiting For?
Sundays, Starting November 30th
The hymn, "O Come O Come Emmanuel" captures the spirit of advent. It tells of the deep longing for God to break into the world; a longing that was met with the birth of Jesus. This longing continues, as we wait with expectation for Jesus to come again, and again. Join us this advent as, along with the prophets of old, we await the coming of the Messiah.

Upcoming Adult Education Series: Growing in Prayer and the Contemplative Life
Join us on December 7, 14, and 21 for an Advent class with Sister Marcy, who will help us deepen our life in God during this season of preparation for the coming of Jesus. Come grow in your practice and experience of prayer! Sister Marcy comes with a breadth and depth of experience, having served as the director of the Francis House of Prayer for the past 35 years.
