As a church that is committed to helping our members to “Grow in Christ,” we encourage each person in our congregation to actively nourish their own spiritual life through the study of God’s Word and attentiveness to the guidance of God’s Holy Spirit.

Adult Education

We offer a variety of spiritual growth opportunities to choose from, including Adult Education classes, our popular Disciple and Alpha courses, home churches, separate retreats for men and women, spiritual direction, and many other fellowship opportunities.

Our hope is that these programs will spark your interest and ignite within you a deeper awareness of the spiritual issues of our time, a deeper understanding of God’s teachings in the Scriptures, and a deeper love of Jesus Christ.

Sunday School

Our lay leaders as they teach various topical units throughout the year that are designed to help us put our faith into action in everyday life. Some of the topics we’ve covered include: The Theology of Bruce Springsteen; Struggling with Suffering and Loss, The Case for the Resurrection, Do All Paths Lead to God, and An Ordinary Day with Jesus.

We also offer Theology 101. If you are new to the Christian faith, if the idea of a Bible study is slightly intimidating to you, or if you’re just looking to brush up on the basics, this class is for you. We will walk you step by step through basic Reformed Theology. You’ll learn what Presbyterians believe, and how we are similar and different from other Christian denominations. Find out the meaning of Christian lingo such as “atonement,” “salvation,” “sanctification,” and “epistimology.” Come with all the questions you were afraid to ask. All are welcome, but classes will build on each other, and regular attendance is encouraged.
