Allentown Presbyterian Church to Serve Church of Christ Meal in Trenton on June 08, 2013
Our church is hosting a meal for the homeless in Trenton on Saturday June 8th, 2013. The location is the community center across the street from the Church of Christ that is located at 434 North Clinton Avenue in the city of Trenton. We need help to serve. Please arrive at the site no later than 10:30 AM to serve. A sign up sheet will be available in the rear of the church.
Pans will be available in the rear of the church for preparing macaroni and cheese casseroles. Please grab a pan after worship. You will be able to feed 18 homeless people in Trenton! Also, please sign up to serve at the site.
The signup sheets are on the back table in the rear of the church. If there are questions, please call Bob Kokesh at (609) 581-1816.
Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. 13But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, 14and you will be blessed.
