You don't have to leave the country to be a missionary. There are many people in need here in the United States.

Inter-generational Maine Mission Trip

Every other year, a large group of APC families travels to Starks, Maine, to help refurbish homes for low-income families. The purpose of this trip is multifaceted; in addition to serving on the work sites, there is ample opportunity to share fun and fellowship by living in community in a dormitory at the University of Maine in Farmington, sharing morning and evening meals and devotions, and gathering together at everyone’s favorite ice cream place down the street from the dorm. It is also an opportunity for families with younger children to experience a mission trip since there is no age restriction as on the international trips.

The 2009 Maine Mission Trip is scheduled for August 8-15th.

Our first informational meeting will be held in Schulte Hall on Sunday evening, March 1st at 7pm.
