R.O.C.K. provides an opportunity for children to build and strengthen friendships with other Christians making church feel like a friendly, comfortable place to be and encouraging life-long participation in the Christian community.
R.O.C.K. (Rock on Christian Kids!)
R.O.C.K. is a fellowship program for children in 3rd-5th grade. From September through May, we gather from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every Thursday evening to share fun and friendship while playing games, making crafts, learning a Bible lesson, eating, and, either singing or working on service projects!
A typical evening of R.O.C.K.
5:00: Game
5:15: Bible Study
5:35: Craft
6:00: Dinner
6:30-7:30: Choose to be a “Choir Kid” or a “Caring Kid"
Choir Kids
Learn fun, worship songs; prepare to lead worship; participate in annual church musical.
Caring Kids
Learn about service/mission opportunities on local, national, and international levels. Develop sense of empathy, generosity, and teamwork.
The objectives of the Caring Kids program are:
